Mutuality and Common Life

The Issues
How do we tell the Good News and the stories of good news?
How transparent are we in our decision making?
Does Diocesan Synod simply rubber stamp the decisions of other groups?
Lots of people attended the Visitation, where are they this evening?
Minutes of meetings
How do we grow mutual trust?
Engage all those effected in decision making
Congregational Feedback

Some ideasDo we need a newspaper? Bi-monthly
    Stories
How and where decisions are made
Web / Blog the democratisation of power…
Visits by Bishops etc … big meetings with a feeling that it will make a difference

I am not sure of the value of a newspaper as there is already too much 'stuff' to read and many people feel inundated by too much information. Simplicity has a lot to recommend it, in my opinion.

I write as someone who is on my local PCC but still very much a 'seeker' and I have enrolled on an Alpha course as I need to get back to basics after not really progressing since childhood. what I am really trying to say is that I am very much a 'beginner' and that therefore my experience is very limited.
